Senior Accountant – Tax Position

ROLE:
This position is responsible for supporting line manager
i in checking, reconcilation figures for the purpose of maintaining and strenghtening the tax
compliance status of SPVB;
ii preparation of internal reports set including analysis, forecast and summary report to
support for decision making and tax planning; and
iii in charge of neccessary works in relation to insurance except for car insurance.quot;
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be responsible for working with Reporting Team for preparation of CIT Corporate income
tax return and to ensure that the tax paid in the most efficient way;
- Main in-charge of preparation for some tax reconciliation reports such as VAT and CIT
revenue reconciliation, etc. to support manager to identify systematic tax issues to ensure
sufficient tax declaration;
- Assist line manager carry out tax projects to improve benefit minimize tax risks where
required;
- Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to ensure tax payment in most
efficient way and benefit any tax advantages and exemptions;
- Be responsible for preparation and submission of DTA application for applicable contracts to
support for CAPEX cost saving;
- Coordinate with team members to keeps up to date with changing tax laws, analyses the
implication;
- Coordinate with relevant parties to keep maintain internal reports set, including analysis,
forecast and summary report to support for decision making and tax planning;
- Coordinate with team members to ensure required reports to be submitted to the relevant
authorities on time;
- Support on procedures for profit remittance and other liaison with tax authorities;
- Support manager with works in relation to insurances except for car insurance;
- Other ad hoc task assigned by line manager.
